One the point collecting schemes that I do – but pay only a bit of attention to is Heathrow Rewards.
Mainly because, I’m not a big shopper at airports. However, it is a useful scheme that’s good for racking in points on spends like Heathrow Express, Costa Coffee, Dixon Travel and so forth at the airport.
With low conversion options to convert 250 points to airline miles, it’s a useful place to top up airline miles to occasionally if you’re passing through the airport..
For those of you who have Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer membership – there’s a conversion bonus that’s running between 3rd April and 31st May.
The bonus depends what tier you’re in the Heathrow Rewards programme:
- 25% for Normal members (62.5 extra miles)
- 50% for Premium members. (125 extra miles)
The standard conversion starts at 250 Heathrow Reward points to 250 Krisflyer Miles.
As usual , there are terms and conditions:
- You can convert Heathrow Rewards points for a minimum of 250 Krisflyer miles as part of the standard customer proposition.
- The 25% extra miles is applicable for Heathrow Rewards members only during the promotional period.
- The 50% extra miles offer is applicable to Heathrow Rewards Premium members only during the promotional period.
- The offer is only available online and conversions must take place online in order to receive the 25% or 50% extra miles.
- The extra miles will be credited to your membership account.
- The offer cannot be combined with any other promotion. Heathrow may withdraw this offer without advanced notice to members of Krisflyer or Heathrow Rewards.
For those looking to top up their Krisflyer accounts – this could be useful.
And right now – I have 280 Heathrow Reward points to convert in my Heathrow Rewards Account. Where to convert them to…
