The new seat will be rolled out from January 2019 aboard Wizzair’s new order of Airbus A320neo family aircraft (A320neo and A321neo).
The order covers shipsets for 110 aircraft, for line-fit delivery. These seats will not make it aboard the current planes which uses Geven’s Puma seats.
The seat when fully equipped will come in at 9kg per seat, and promises up to 25% extra knee room compared to the current Puma seat used on Wizzair’s current A320ceo fleet.
The seat has been designed with Geven and Wizzair, with Wizzair injecting requirements so the seat is fit to fly. The seat will have a cobalt blue covering as well.
