It’s Sunday again, and it’s time for some more airplane art.
This week at sunset and dusk – we have a pair of Virgin America Airbus A320 aircraft taxing at Chicago O’Hare as the sun sets and the dusk of the evening rising.
Virgin America flew its last flights earlier this week and is now part of Alaska Airlines. The airline subsumed the fleet of 10 Airbus A319s, 53 Airbus A320s and 4 Airbus A321neo aircraft into the Alaska fleet.
The fleet operated in a three-class formation, with a First Class product, a Main Cabin Select (extra space economy) and a Main Cabin product (economy class).
More Airplane art next week!
Photographers notes: Both shot with a Canon 6D with a 24-105mm f4 L series lens.
