Well, there must be something in the air in Europe at the moment, this time with Brussels Airlines pilots being called out on strike.

The pilots are due to walk out on Monday 14th and Wednesday 16th May.
As a result, the planned flying programme for those two days may suffer suspensions and cancellations.
At the moment, the airline have not published a timetable – this will be published at https://www.brusselsairlines.com/en-uk/misc/alert-message.aspx
In terms of changes, Brussels Airles will offer:
- Free rebooking to a later date (new travel date must be before June 30th). Rebooking must be done through the Brussels Airlines service centre
- Full refund of your ticket (head here – if you made the booking via a travel agent, you’ll need to contact them to refund the ticket)
Interestingly, there have been no re-routing options offered on other Lufthansa Group airlines yet (as has been common in most Lufthansa Group strikes).
Changes in travel are never good – and maybe a bit of prodding Brussels Airlines will get you re-routed to where you need to get to.
But another strike is never welcome.
