It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more airplane art.
This week, we have a Turkish Airlines Airbus A330-200 climbing out Dublin Airport on a cloudy day, as it begins the long journey back to Istanbul Atatürk Airport.
Turkish Airlines operate a fleet of 17 Airbus A330-200 aircraft, operated in three different configuration (varying the size of the Business and Economy Class cabins). These are supported by Airbus A330-300 (the payload optimised variant), the A340-300 and the Boeing 777-300ER on longer haul missions.
This A330-200 was being used at Dublin Airport instead of the usual Boeing 737-900ER that serves the route.
Many thanks to @essiejosie for ride around Dublin Airport to catch this plane as it departed.
More Airplane art next week!
