It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more airplane art.
This week – resting at the gate between flights at Stockholm Arlanda Airport is a Norwegian Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, as it is prepared for its long haul next flight.
The Norwegian Boeing 787 fleet is split across two different long haul fleets (subsidiaries as they’re better known as):
- Norwegian Long Haul – 8 Boeing 787-8 and 11, Boeing 787-9
- Norwegian Air UK – 12 Boeing 787-9
Together, they connect Norwegian Air Shuttle bases in Europe to destinations North America, South America and Asia. These Boeing 787 Dreamliners are supported by the much smaller Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft which operate the thinner and longer routes the airline flies .
More airplane art next week!
