It’s time for another snapshot – this time focusing on Finnair 1335 between Helsinki Vantaa and London Heathrow

Transfer
Transfer was within Helsinki Terminal 2 complex. No further security checks were carried out.
Lounge
The Finnair Non-Schegen Lounge was used. Sadly, the Premium Lounge was shut for rebuilding works.

Boarding
Boarding was from the Gate 50 Complex at Helsinki. This complex handles bussing between the gate and planes, and is divided 12 sub-gates.
The plane
It’s an Airbus A321 with Sharklets
The seats
The cabin is laid out a 2-2 Eurobusiness style layout in the front of the plane, and a 3-3 standard configuration. The seat is based on the Recaro BL3510.
Food and Drink
Food was available for purchase as a buy-on-board or order ahead option. Tea, Coffee, Water and Blueberry Juice were offered in flight free of charge (with re-fills offered too)
In-Flight Entertainment
Free papers and content was available on the Nordic Sky Portal. No on-board screens were installed.
On-board Connectivity
Connectivity was offered by the Finnair Nordic Sky Portal, with the backbone provided by Viasat. Connectivity maps were provided by airline – including dead zones.
Arrival
The plane arrived at Heathrow Termnal 3 to allow passengers to depart. There was a short delay whilst chocks were found to secure the aircraft.
