Its Sunday again, so it must be time for some more airplane art.
This week, we have a rare sight – a Lufthansa Airbus A380 being towed to the terminal area, whilst a company Boeing 747-400 lands at Frankfurt Airport in the early morning.
Lufthansa operates a fleet of 12 Airbus A380 (split between the bases of Frankfurt and Munich) and 13 Boeing 747-400 aircraft (based out of Frankfurt).
Along with the Airbus A330-300s, Airbus A340-300, Airbus A340-600s, Airbus A350 and Boeing 747-8i, they form the backbone of the Lufthansa long haul fleets, operating out of Frankfurt and Munich
More airplane art next week!
Photographers Notes:
- Shot with a Canon EOS 6D with a 24-105mm F4 L Series
- Settings: ISO640, 1/400 @ f9.0, 100mm
- And yes… shots like this require either 1) intricate knowledge of aircraft movements or 2) sheer luck. This shot falls into the latter 😉
