For those who love the addictive taste of Dutch caramel waffles in flight – the Stroopwafel, there’s a late Christmas miracle going to happen.
Yes – they’re being rotated back into the snack basket selection!
According to an airline tweet:
We’re starting 2019 on a sweet note – the stroopwafel will be back in the snack rotation starting in January! pic.twitter.com/b2gmyGslY7

These will replace the Maple wafer cookies that went on stream earlier this year, as they are rotated out.
Stropwafeles have been available on European departures since the Maple Wafer cookies came on stream, however not on US Domestic flights.
No exact date has been mentioned, other than January 2019.
There are some who will welcome warming a stroopwafel up over your in-flight coffee to add a reasonable sugary boost to getting in the air.
Now I feel the need to go to Amsterdam for the day…
