It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more airplane art.
This time, we have a Korean Air Boeing 787-9 taxing at Madrid Barajas Airport, as it prepares to begin the long journey back to Seoul Incheon Airport in South Korea.
Korean Air operates a fleet of 10 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, with options for a further 10 to be ordered. These are supported by a wide range of medium to long haul aircraft including:
- Airbus A330-200, Airbus A330-300
- Airbus A380
- Boeing 747-400, 747-8i
- Boeing 777-200ER, 777-300, 777-300ER
The fleet operates from its bases at Seoul Incheon and Seoul Gimpo airports, connecting South Korea to the world and competing with fellow carrier Asiana Airlines.
The aircraft depicted here is HL8084 – a young one and a half year old frame, fitted with six first class seats, 18 business class seats and 245 economy class seats, and powered by Rolls Royce Trent engines.
More Airplane art next week!
