Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory – British Airways luggage delivery (oh. They lost my bag too)

It continues to puzzle me that at home hubs, airlines have trouble delivering luggage to the belt – priority or otherwise.

I’m sat at Belt 4, after coming off a rather reasonable flight on BA294 today, with the plane on the ground early, and my good self through immigration by 6:50.

But it seems that congestion in the baggage area, as well as my bag loaded in the last container means I’ve been sat on my backside for 30 minutes waiting for my bag.

This isn’t hard to be honest. It needs a bit better organisation (and things like priority luggage coming out first).

And whilst this isn’t the biggest thing in the world to some, for a lot of people, it’s a last touch point between an airline and a passenger.

Update. It looks like my baggage is lost too.

Further update. It gets juicy. Trust me.
