SAS Pilots strike contiunes – Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th April

27/04/2019 by Kevincm

It seems the strike action at SAS (Scandinavian Airlines) continues, with 587 flights already cancelled for flights on Sunday 28th April, along with additional flights cancelled today (27th April).

The strike is predicted to hit 64,000 passengers, and follows on from the strike held on Friday.

As such, the same advice applies that you’ll need to head to https://www.flysas.com/gb-en/traffic-information/disruptions/ and in particular https://www.flysas.com/gb-en/traffic-information/info/.

The current list of operating flights can be found at https://www.flysas.com/gb-en/traffic-information/operating-flights/

The airline is offering various options including:

  • Refunds of flights
  • Rebooking (either automatic rebooking, or manual)

Plan ahead

Strike actions are never pleasant – least of all for the passenger caught in the middle of the hot mess.

In this case, the only thing you can do is rebook your flight (at www.flysas.com/en/disruptions) and hope the action isn’t extended too long as the airline and unions attempt to sort out the situation.
