Mexican Carrier Volaris will has selected new seats for their upcoming A320 and A321neo aircraft – and have selected the Recaro SL3510.

The deal will cover seats for 23 A320 and A321neo – with over 4000 seats being delivered to Volaris. The first delivery is due to take place at the end of 2019.
Volaris currently fles 197 routes, with 124 Mexican domestic routes and 73 international routes connecting Mexico, Central America and the United States.
The SL3510 seat is a slimline seat that has is pre-reclined (or fixed back). It’s a lightweight seat, coming in at 9kg – which for a low cost carrier matters when it comes to weight on a plane, and the fuel costs. It features a reduced part count too, which should make maintenance a lot easier. It’s designed to be pitched at 29″, although it can be used at 28″.
The seat can be configured with different option such as a table with integrated tablet PC holder, cup holder, coat hook, Literature pocket and so on

Another SL3510 win
The SL3510 has had numerous orders, with Air France launching the seat. Since the airlines such as British Airways, EasyJet, Iberia, Cebu Pacific and TAP Portugal. With lower weight seats and less maintence costs, this adds up over the life-time of the seat and aircraft.
For the missions that these aircraft can be used for, the Recaro SL3510 is more than a suitable solution for the short haul sectors these planes will be called on to fly.
