LEVEL hits Two – and offers up to 50% off!

03/06/2019 by Kevincm

The low-cost IAG long haul airline – LEVEL has passed two years old.

And as such, it’s got a sale on, with up to 50% discount on some of its long haul routes.

Different codes apply on different LEVEL routes to make life confusing than it needs to be;

Using code HAPPY

  • Boston-Barcelona:
  • New York (JFK) -Barcelona

Using code BIRTHDAY

  • San Francisco – Barcelona

Using code TWO

  • New York (EWR) to Paris
    Montreal to Paris

And you can expect a bunch of terms and conditions, with restricted travel dates (which I strongly advise you read).

Something to bear in mind is that the 50% discount applies to the fare element of the flight – as opposed to the entire fare. I’ve explored this in the past where I’ve had £1 transatlantic tickets… with £324 of taxes and surcharges.

You will need to book by 10th June 2019, Fares include one item of hand luggage up to 10kg and a personal item. If you want other features (such as hold baggage, meals, etc), you’ll need to tag them onto your ticket.

As these are long haul aircraft, they’re configured in 2-3-3 in the Premium Economy Cabin and a comfortable 2-4-2 in the main economy cabin

Beware the taxes and surcharges

If you can live with the restrictions of the fare in terms of data, allowances and be happy you’re getting 50% off the fare element of ticket – it’s not a bad deal at all.

Just be aware that taxes and surcharges won’t be reduced – and you will have to have to fork out for those.
