Japan Airlines and MOS Burger introduce “Air MOS” Teriyaki Burger

24/06/2019 by Kevincm

If you’ve been to Japan, one of the sights that will greet you is MOS Burger. Well, it seems MOS Burger and Japan Airlines are working together again for their 9th tie up – and introduces AIR MOS Teriyaki Burger.

The AirMOS Teriyaki Burger will be offered on select flights from Japan to Europe, North America and Australia. This is being offered in Premium Economy and Economy Class until the 31st August 2019.

Air MOS Burger
As delivered.

According to the airline, the AIR MOS Teriyaki Burger, is a popular item at the fast-food restaurant featuring an original teriyaki sauce .with crispy lettuce, adding texture to the meal.

Note, there will be no fries with the burger, rather potato rings will be offered in its place.

It is limited to certain routes and flights, as listed below:

  • From Tokyo (Narita) to Chicago (includes JL8056 from 08JUN), Dallas/Fort Worth, Boston, New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, San Diego, Vancouver, Frankfurt, Helsinki, and Melbourne
  • From Tokyo (Haneda) to New York, San Francisco, London (JL043), and Paris
  • From Osaka (Kansai) to Los Angeles

Omotenashi in the air

Omotenashi – or Japanese hospitality is a core part of the experience – be it in the air or on the ground in Japan. This isn’t the first time Japan Airlines have worked with MOS Burger  – or with other brands such as Yoshinoya to bring gyudon to the air.

And it adds a bit of something different from the normal boring second service snacks that are out there.
