It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more airplane art.
This week waiting at the gate for it’s next duty is a Qatar Airways Airbus A330-300 in the heat of a Doha night.
A7-AEJ is a 12 year old Airbus A330-300 delivered directly to Qatar Airways. Since then it operates medium to long haul routes, operating to destinations such as Venice, Nairobi, Bangkok and Hanoi – or where the A330 fleet is deemed needed to go..
It’s part of a cadre of 13 Airbus A330-300. These are supported by the many types of aircraft Qatar Airways long haul fleet including the Airbus A330-200, A350-900, A350-1000, A380, Boeing 777-200LR, 777-300ER and 787-8.
More airplane art next week!
Photographers Notes
- Camera: Canon EOS R
- Lens: Canon EF 24-105mm f4 L Series Lens
- Settings: 40mm, ISO 8000, 1/50 at f4
- … and I’m still reasonably surprised how much ISO 8000 is pretty clean in this image.

Nice image. I love Qatar airways and what they have done with the interior of the new planes is superb. No wonder they are now the No.1 airlines in the world.
