SNAPSHOT: Qatar Airways 175 Doha to Oslo (Business Class)

It’s time for another snapshot as we edge closer to the trip report, this time examining Qatar Airways 175 between Doha and Oslo.

For those of you who are new to the blog:

  • Trip Reports – These are full deep-dive reports taking you into the experience and the small things… as well as the big things!
  • Snapshots – These are bite-sized reviews that show you the basic product in some nice gentle headlines (and normally, only images shot on the phone)

Transfer

Passengers were discharged from the plane, and cleared one of the main trsinsfrr and security areas

Lounge

A 6 hour layover was put in at the Al Mourange lounge. This was used as a comfort and rest stop as I was unwell at this point.

Boarding

Boarding was from the Lower C gates, requiring a bus transfer.

The aircraft

It’s a Qatar Airways Boeing 787-8

The Seat

This aircraft uses the the Collins Aerospace SuperDiamond seat. I was allocated seat 5A, but swapped for seat 1F to accommodate a family.

In flight entertainment

A variant of the Thales Avant IFE system is installed. Interestingly, whilst the screen was a touch screen, it was a lot less responsive than the ones installed on the A350 aircraft.

Connectivity

Sita OnAir L band Connectivity was installed on this plane, with different Wi-fi options compared to other Services.

Food and Drink

Dine on Demand was offered on-board, with a breakfast and snack service offered.

Landing

Qatar Airways 175 landed at Oslo Airport, with passengers deplaning at the F pier

    I enjoyed a great Experience at last flight on Qatar Airways , I enjoyed my flight on First Class and I hope to be repeated in the next flights.
