It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have a Turkish Airlines Boeing 737-800 as it crosses the perimeter road at Dublin Airport, just before it lands at the main gateway to Ireland.
Turkish Airlines operate a fleet of 98 Boeing 737-800 aircraft in its short to medium haul fleet. They are supported by the Airbus A320 family (A319, A320, A321), Boeing 737 Family (-700 and 900ER) – as well as the new generation narrow-bodied aircraft (Airbus A321neo and Boeing 737 MAX 8 and MAX 9).
These feed to the main Turkish Airlines hub at Istanbul for connections to the world.
TC-JVL is a three and a half year old Boeing 737-800, that operates in a two-class configuration – operating for Turkish Airlines since it joined its fleet
You’ll notice this was taken from the inside perimeter road at Dublin Airport. And there’s a story behind that.
Check back later this week where I take you on a behind the scenes at what goes on at Dublin Airport and on the field.
Many thanks to Dublin Airport for access to shoot this photo.
