It was delivered from the Airbus facility at Hamburg to the airline.
This variant of the A320neo will be powered by Pratt & Whitney PW1100G Geared Turbo Fan engines (common across the Lufthansa Group with their A320neo fleet).
Swiss International Air Lines operates all-Airbus on its short to medium-haul segments (where the A320neo could be used), currently operating the A319, A320 and A321 as well as the A220 family.
As well as the 25 on order for Swiss, Lufthansa has A320neo frames both in service and on order (23 delivered/92 on order), A321neo (5 delivered/35 on order) and 20 A320neo on order for Eurowings.
With Lufthansa group adopting a common standard for its A320neo deliveries, it will allow the aircraft to be moved within the group as needed. As per the current design, they will use the new Geven Seats installed on their common A320neo.
