It seems Delta Air Lines is reacting to the Human Malware/Coronavirus – combined with Presidential proclamation that went into effect on Friday.

The European Networks is being sliced to the following from 16th March 2020 with one daily flight between the following cities:
- Atlanta to Amsterdam
- Atlanta to London-Heathrow
- Atlanta to Paris-Charles De Gaulle
- Detroit to Amsterdam
- Detroit to London-Heathrow
- New York-JFK to London-Heathrow
- New York-JFK to Dublin
According to Delta, this schedule will continue to provide customers access to multiple destinations throughout Europe through Delta’s expanded joint venture partnership with Air France, KLM and Virgin Atlantic.
In the meantime, Air France and KLM plan to continue their own operations to CDC-designated U.S. airports and are closely coordinating with Delta and Virgin Atlantic as adjustments are made.
With the entry restriction into India, the airline is also suspending its service between New York-JFK and Mumbai starting Tuesday, 17th March.
The airline will continue to evaluate customer demand and adjust service as needed.
Opinion
With demand falling off the cliff and countries closing borders in fear, airlines all over are taking action to protect themselves, keep the bare minimum services.
And there is going to be a lot more pain before we come out of this I suspect.
