It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane art.
This week, we have a Brussels Airlines Airbus A320, painted in its special “AeroSmurf” livery as it arrives at Brussels National Airport, as it is turned around to head to Lisbon.
Brussels Airlines use Airbus narrow-body family aircraft, utilising the Airbus A319 and Airbus A320. These are the backbone of the European fleet, supporting the Airbus A330-200 and A330-300 long haul aircraft.
These are split out as 22 Airbus A319 and 16 Airbus A320.
Six of the Brussels Airlines fleet are painted in “Belgian Icons” liveries, celebrating Belgian culture – AeroSmurf being one of those.
And if you want to look inside the AeroSmurf, head to my trip report segment when I flew it and had some on-board Belgian Fries…
More Airplane Art next week!
