It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more airplane art.
This week, we’re into the archives again – and we have a Jin Air Boeing 777-200ER arriving at Hong Kong International Airport after completing the journey from Seoul, South Korea.
Jin Air is a low-cost carrier, part of the Hanjin Group – and a subsidiary of Korean Air. The airline operates a fleet of four Boeing 777-200ER wide-bodied aircraft, and 24 Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
The aircraft is configured with 393 seats. This is split between Jin Plus (a premium economy product), Jin Exit (exit row seats), Jin Front (Front Zone of the Boeing 777-200ER) and Jin Standard (Rear part of the aircraft).
The aircraft depicted here – HL7733 joined Korean Air in June 2005 – making this aircraft just over 15 years old. The aircraft served Korean Air until July 2015 – where it transferred to Jin Air, where the aircraft is currently based with.
More Airplane Art next week!
