It’s Saturday and it’s still my week off – so it’s time for some more airplane art.
This time we have a Virgin Atlantic Boeing 787-9 parked its home base of London Heathrow Airport as it rests between duties
Virgin Atlantic operates a fleet of 17 Boeing 787-9 aircraft in its fleet. These are part of the Virgin Atlantic fleet, made up of the Airbus A330-200, Airbus A330-300 and Airbus A350-1000 (with the Boeing 747-400 fleet retired due to the impact of COVID-19).
This aircraft – G-VFAN – is named “Pinup Girl”. It joined the Virgin Atlantic fleet in May 2016, where it remains in service. It is configured in a three-class configuration, with Upper Class, Premium Economy and Economy Class, serving their long haul network.
More airplane art tomorrow.
