Korean Air adjusts its network capacity

Korean Air is adjusting its network capacity over August and September, with additional flights added to the network.

Let’s see what routes the airline is operating, as well as the frequency of operations.

North America

  • Seoul Incheon – Atlanta – 7 x a week
  • Seoul Incheon – Boston 3 x a week, with some extra flights
  • Seoul Incheon – Chicago O’Hare – 5 x a week
  • Seoul Incheon – Dallas Fort Worth – 3 x a week a week
  • Seoul Incheon – New York – 7 x a week
  • Seoul Incheon – Los Angeles – 10 x week combined service
  • Seoul Incheon – San Francisco – 5 x a week
  • Seoul Incheon – Seattle – 3 x a week a week
  • Seoul Incheon – Washington Dulles – 4 x a week
  • Seoul Incheon – Toronto – 3 x a week
  • Seoul Incheon – Vancouver – 4 x a week

Europe

  • Seoul Incheon – Amsterdam – 3 x a week
  • Seoul Incheon – Frankfurt – 2 x a week
  • Seoul Incheon – London Heathrow – 3 x a week
  • Seoul Incheon – Paris – 4 x a week
  • Seoul Incheon – Prague – very limited operations
  • Seoul Incheon – Milan – very limited operations

South and South-East Asia

  • Seoul Incheon – Bangkok – 7 x
  • Seoul Incheon – Hanoi – 3 x a week
  • Seoul Incheon – Ho Chi Min City – 6 x
  • Seoul Incheon – Singapore – 3 x a week
  • Seoul Incheon – Manila – Limited operations to Manila, subject to governmental approval, 7 x weekly departing
  • Seoul Incheon – Phnom Penh – 4 x in August, 5 x in September
  • Seoul Incheon – Yangon – 3 x a week
  • Seoul Incheon – Kuala Lumpur – 3 x a week
  • Seoul Incheon – Jakarta – 3 x a week

Australia and New Zealand

  • Seoul Incheon – Auckland – Very Limited operation
  • Seoul Incheon – Sydney – Very Limited operation

North Asia

  • Seoul Incheon – Tianjin – Very Limited operation
  • Seoul Incheon – Guangzhou – 1 x a week
  • Seoul Incheon – Shenyang – 1 x a week
  • Seoul Incheon – Hong Kong – 3 x a week
  • Seoul Incheon – Taipei – 2 x a week
  • Seoul Incheon – Tokyo Narita – 7 x

South Korean Domestic

  • Seoul Gimpo – Busan – 8 x Daily
  • Seoul Gimpo – Ulsan – 2 x Daily
  • Seoul Gimpo – Jeju – 25 x Daily
  • Busan – Jeju – 8 x Daily
  • Guawngju – Jeju – 3 x Daily
  • Cheongju – Jeju – 3 x Daily

Its a slow recovery for the airline, which has added its Tianjin route back in for the first time in five months (even on a limited basis).

But for now, it caution appears to be the order of the day still.

    I expected Korean air to ramp up their operation, specially in Asia.
