It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more airplane art.
This week we have a Finnair Airbus A350-900, resting between flights at Singapore Changi Airport, as it is prepared for the return trip back to Helsinki Vantaa Airport.
Finnair operates a fleet of 15 Airbus A350-900 aircraft (with an additional four on order). Combined with eight Airbus A330-300 aircraft, they form the backbone of Finnair’s long-haul fleet.
The airline utilises the Airbus narrowbody family on its short-haul fleet (including the Airbus A319, A320 and A321). The airline also owns Embraer E-190 and ATR72-500 aircraft, which are operated by Nordic Regional Airlines.
This aircraft – OH-LWK – was delivered in June 2017 and has remained in the Finnair fleet since then.
I’ve flown aboard the Finnair A350 a couple of times between Helsinki and London Heathrow – my reviews are here and here
More Airplane Art next week!
