Virgin Atlantic confirms Pakistan route launch and timings -tickets on sale

Virgin Atlantic is pushing through with its Pakistan network, with the airline confirming the launch of three routes, as well as opening bookings from today.

The three new routes are:

  • Manchester – Islamabad
  • London Heathrow – Lahore
  • London Heathrow – Islamabad

The planned operation is as follows

Manchester – Islamabad 

VS362 DEPART MAN 12:35 ARRIVE ISB 01:00+1
VS363 DEPART ISB 03:30 ARRIVE  MAN 07:00
Commences 10th December Operates Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays (+1 from Islamabad) 
Booked Equipment: Boeing 787-9 

Return Economy fares start from £562 per person, Premium from £779, and Upper Class from £2,051

London Heathrow – Lahore

VS364 DEPART LHR 21:50 ARRIVE LHE 10:20+1
VS365  DEPART LHE  13:25 ARRIVE LHR 17:00
Commences 13th December Operates Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays (+1 from Lahore)
Booked Equipment: Boeing 787-9

Return Economy fares start from £519 per person, Premium from £756 and Upper Class from £1,986

London Heathrow to Islamabad

VS378 DEPART LHR 12:30 ARRIVE ISB 01:00+1
VS379 DEPART ISB 03:30 ARRIVE  LHR 07:00

Commences 12th December
Operates Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays (+1 from Islamabad)
Booked Equipment: Boeing 787-9

Return Economy fares start from £504 per person, Premium from £756 and Upper Class from £1,986

These new services will operate with Boeing 787-9 aircraft, with 31 Upper Class suites, 35 Premium and 192 Economy seats.

Virgin Atlantic says the new services will open up over 290,000 seats between the UK and Pakistan annually whilst also offering connections and a consistent long-haul onboard experience for customers travelling from destinations throughout North America, including New York JFK, Los Angeles, Washington, Boston and San Francisco via London Heathrow onward to Pakistan.

Connections from European destinations will also be available through codeshare and interline partners.

The route launches will also open up cargo opportunities too for those looking to export and import goods such as fresh produce and textiles between markets in the UK and US, and Pakistan.
