It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some airplane art.
This week – we have a Lufthansa Airbus A380 parked at Frankfurt Airport, in protective storage.
Lufthansa has a total of 12 Airbus A380 aircraft. These are currently all parked due to the Human Malware pandemic.
The airline has parked a number of its fleet – from the small Airbus A319, Airbus A320, through to the larger Airbus A330, Airbus A340-300, Airbus A340-600, Boeing 747-400 and Boeing 747-8i.
This aircraft – D-AIMM is called Dehli. It joined the Lufthansa fleet in March 2015, where it served until it was parked in March 2020.
It is unknown if these giants of the sky will return to the Lufthansa fleet in the medium to longer term sadly.
More Airplane art next week!
