It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane art.
This week, we have an Air India Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner at Birmingham Airport, resting at the International pier, before its return flight to India.
Air India operate a fleet of 27 Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner (the first variant of the type introduced), connecting its bases in India to the world.
The airline operates Boeing 747-400, Boeing 777-200R and Boeing 777-300ER in its long haul fleet, along with an Airbus based narrow-body fleet (including the A319, A320, A321 and A320neo).
This aircraft – VT-ANB – joined the Air India fleet fresh from the Boeing factory in January 2014 and is powered by twin General Electric GEnx-1B engines. It has stayed within the Air India fleet since its entry into service.
More Airplane art next week!
