In my travel bag.

As this is an overnight trip, I’m taking the minimum amount of stuff with me. As such this is a two-polo shirt, one t-shirt, two underwear changes, two pairs of socks and one tracksuit bottoms trip.

And no, I’m not showing you my underwear or clothes. Go and feed that fetish elsewhere…

But, that is half of it.

I’m travelling in what can be described as the weirdest of times, and thus need to plan for the Health and Safety side, for personal wellness.

So that does mean this time, I have to travel with a sanitation baggie (instead of the old fashioned liquids bag that I less and less travelled with). In it I have:

  • 4 x “Blue” medical masks
  • 2 x KN95’s for flights
  • 2 x Bottles of Hand Sanitizer
  • 3 x fabric masks for day-to-day wear.

You can never have enough masks when travelling. And hand sanitiser. Maybe *too much* hand sanitiser.

Yes – the world is that mad these days. Not my preferred way to travel, but it seems having a sanitation bag as opposed to a liquids bag is now, a thing. In terms of COIVD-19 testing, I had a test a few days beforehand – for no other purpose than to ensure that I was clean for travel a few days before.

In terms of travel technology, I’m taking some of my usual things with me. These include the EOS R (the EOS R still is my baby – even after having it for around 2 years), along with a 24-105 lens and a 50mm.

A Microsoft Surface Go (with keyboard) for my computing needs

a black device with wires on a grey surface

The iPhone and of course, a 20,000mha power bank.

Yes. It’s an Anker Power Bank.

All this, of course, is in a rather appropriate bag.

And that’s it. Basic precautions and ensuring I have what I need for this short trip.

Next: Off to Birmingham Airport.
