It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more airplane art.
This week, we have a Finnair Airbus A350-900 taxiing and approaching its gate at London Heathrow Terminal 3 as Finnair celebrates its 97th Birthday.
Finnair has a fleet of 15 Airbus A350-900 aircraft in its long haul fleet. The airline operates the older Airbus A330-300 in its fleet too. Together, these two types of aircraft connect Helsinki to Asia, the Americas and the Middle East.
You can find out what the long haul cabin in Business Class looks like here in my review.
This aircraft is OH-LWG. It joined the Finnair fleet in September 2016. It is currently flying with the fleet, with movements primarily to Asia.
Finnair also uses the Airbus narrow body family for its short-haul fleet (using Airbus A319, A320 and A321). The airline also uses ATR72-500 and Embraer 190 through its Nordic Regional Airlines (NoRRA) subsidiary.
More Airplane Art next week!
