It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more airplane art
This week, we have an Etihad Airbus A380-800 on final approach to London Heathrow, as it completes the journey from its home base of Abu Dhabi.
Eithad operate a fleet of a fleet of 10 Airbus A380 aircraft in its long haul fleet. The A380 fleet is currently mothballed until September 2021, pending an up-tick in traffic. The airline also operates the Boeing 777-300ER, Boeing 787-9 and Boeing 787-10 in its long haul fleet, with Airbus A320 and Airbus A321 aircraft in its short-medium haul routes.
This aircraft – A6-APE was delivered in October 2015. It has been parked since August 2020, pending reactiation
How do I know this is A6-APE? Well…
