It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more airplane art.
This week, we have a British Airways CityFlyer Embraer E190 at its home base of London City Airport, as it is turned around for its next trip.
BA CityFlyer fleet has been slimming down recently, with the Embraer E170 fleet being wound down, at the airline retaining its Embraer E190 fleet of 22 aircraft. These are primarily based at London City Airport, connecting to destinations across Europe.
They are configured in a 2-2 seating layout, with 98 seats installed, offering both Club Europe and EuroTraveller seating.
The type will also be used for the planned summer operation out of Southampton Airport.
This aircraft – G-LCYJ It joined the BA CityFlyer fleet in March 2010 and has been parked since December 2020.
More airplane art next week!
