For those of you who collect Tesco Clubcard points/vouchers and convert them into Avois, time is running out to convert them with the conversion due to end on the 18th January.
If you want to convert Clubcard balances, you need to do to so today.
Where can I convert them?
Head to https://secure.tesco.com/clubcard/british-airways-executive-club-avios/UK-000237.prd. You can also convert them via the Tesco Clubcard app.
Note, the minimum amount of Clubcard vouchers you can convert is £2.50, in increments of 50p.
What other travel options are there?
Once Avios leaves Tesco Clubcard scheme, airline options are limited, with Virgin Atlantic (via the Virgin Points scheme). This allows you to convert £2.50 into 625 points.
Beyond air travel, other tempting travel options could include Eurotunnel Le Shuttle, Irish Ferries, National Express, Megabus UK, P&O Ferries and Stena Line.
If you’re staying in the U.K, there are reasonable redemption options for Hilton Hotels, Novotel, Mercure Hotels too.
Should you convert your Clubcard vouchers into Avios?
It depends on your circumstances. If you’ve been all-in for Tesco for Avios, it’s time to cash out. Of course, it’s a little harder than that – especially if you use Tesco for fuel, insurance, as well as food.
For me, I’ll be converting some of my balance (which, I’ll be honest – isn’t a lot) to use it to keep my Avios balance alive (probably £10 or so).
But if you need to convert to Avios from Tesco Clubcard…
Do it today.
