It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more airplane art.
This week, we have a Turkish Airlines Airbus A330-300 taxiing at Frankfurt Airport , as it prepares to depart for its home base of Istanbul.
Turkish Airlines operate a fleet of 40 Airbus A330-300, which are used on medium to long haul missions. The airline also operates the Airbus A330-200, Airbus A350-900, Boeing 777-300ER and Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner in its long haul fleet.
This is supplemented by a fleet of Airbus A319, Airbus A320, Airbus A321, Airbus A321neo, Boeing 737-800, Boeing 737-900ER, Boeing 737 MAX 8 and Boeing 737 MAX 9 which operate short to medium-haul missions.
This aircraft – TC-JNJ is called Kapadokya . It joined the Turkish Airlines fleet just over 10 years go, where it remains in service, with a two-class (Business and Economy Class configuration).
It has remained active, operating recently to medium-haul destinations including Frankfurt, Casablanca, Amsterdam and Dubai – to name a few destinations.
