It’s the end of January and things seem to be going as much as they can be expected. But it’s also the end of the week – so it’s time for Last Week at Economy Class and Beyond.

Travel Restrictions

Her Majesties Government has been busy announcing updated travel restrictions – with plans to introduce hotel quarantines and extending direct travel bans

  • UK Travel Bans: UAE added, along with other countries – If you’re in the UAE or the other countries on this list, you’ll need to find a new indirect way home
  • The UK to impose mandatory hotel quarantine for arrivals from 30 countries and restrictions exiting the country – Get ready to pay out to wait out your quarantine periods if you’re coming in from any country on the “Red List”.
