It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more airplane art.
This week, we have a Lufthansa Airbus A321neo arriving at Dublin Airport as it completes the short-haul hop from Frankfurt Airport.
Lufthansa operates a fleet of six Airbus A321neo aircraft, with 34 on order. The airline leans heavily on the Airbus narrow-body family for its short-haul operation, flying the A319, A320 A321-100, A321-200 and Airbus A320neo aircraft.
This aircraft – D-AIEB is named Bielefeld. It joined the Lufthansa fleet in May 2019 – configured in a 215 seat configuration, with a flexible Business/Economy Class configuration. It has remained active during the pandemic, operating to locations such as Rome, Istanbul, Cairo, Tunis and Zurich.
More Airplane art next week!
