It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have a Qatar Airways Boeing 777-300ER taking off from Frankfurt Airport as it heads off to its home base of Hamad International Airport.
Qatar Airways operate a fleet of 48 Boeing 777-300ER aircraft in its long-haul fleet. The airline also operates the Airbus A330-200, Airbus A330-300, Airbus A350-900, Airbus A350-1000, Airbus A380, Boeing 777-200LR, Boeing 787-8 and Boeing 787-9.
The Boeing 777-300ER aircraft – whilst a large component of the fleet – are due to be replaced by 2024 as the Boeing 777X family comes on-line.
This aircraft – A7-BES – joined the Qatar Airways fleet in May 2018. It has remained active since then, with the aircraft recently operating to Kuala Lumpur, London-Heathrow, Amsterdam, Riyadh, Male and Bangkok from its home base of Doha. It is configured in a two-class setup, with 42 business class seats and 312 economy seats (operating with QSuites).

More Airplane Art next week!
