It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more airplane art.
This week, we have a TAP Air Portugal Airbus A330-900neo at Chicago O’Hare International Airport (Terminal 5) as it is prepared for the return trip back to its home Lisbon Airport in Portugal.
TAP Air Portugal was the launch carrier of the Airbus A330neo family, as well as the launch operator for the Airbus A330-900neo (the payload optimised variant of the A330neo family). They operate a total of 19 of the new A330-900neo, with an additional six on order.
The airline also operates the Airbus A330-200 and Airbus A321LR in their long haul fleet. Meanwhile, TAP Air Portugal runs an all-Airbus short-haul fleet, flying the Airbus A319, Airbus A320, Airbus A321 and Airbus A320neo.
This aircraft – CS-TUL is named “João Vaz Côrte- Real“. It joined the TAP Air Portugal fleet in June 2019. The aircraft has been active, with it serving destinations such as Toronto, Belo Horizonte, Fortaleza and Sao Paulo.
