It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have a KLM Royal Dutch Airlines Boeing 737-700 preparing to start its takeoff roll from Dublin Airport, for the trip back to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.
KLM operate a fleet of 15 Boeing 737-700 aircraft in its short to medium haul fleet. The airline also operates the larger Boeing 737-800 and the bigger Boeing 737-900ER. These, along with the CityHopper Embraer fleet connect Amsterdam to cities across Europe and feed into the long haul network the airline operates.
A number of the KLM 737-800 fleet aircraft are going through major upgrades, including onboard Wi-Fi provision and new seating.
This aircraft – PH-BGQ – joined the KLM fleet in June 2011, making it just under 10 years old. It operates in a 142 seat configuration, with a variable business and economy class.
The aircraft has remained active, with it connecting a range of destinations across Europe.
More airplane art next week!
