It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more airplane art.
This week, we have a Qatar Airways Airbus A330-200 at Hamad International Airport, Doha as it is prepared for its next departure.
Qatar Airways retain a fleet of six Airbus A330-200 aircraft in its medium to long haul fleet. The airline also operates the Airbus A330-300, Airbus A350-900, Airbus A350-1000, Airbus A380, Boeing 777-200LR, Boeing 777-300ER, Boeing 787-8 and Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner in its long haul fleet.
The Airbus A330-200/300 aircraft are due to be removed from the fleet in 2022, with the type being replaced by the Airbus A350 or Boeing 787 families
This aircraft – A7-ACL is just over 14 years old. It has been stored both at Doha and recently moved to Nimes Airport in France for storage.
More Airplane art next week!
