It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more airplane art.
This week, we have a Lufthansa Airbus A330-300 parked at Frankfurt Airport as it awaits an upturn in traffic and re-entery into service
Lufthansa operates a fleet of 15 Airbus A330-300 aircraft in its long haul fleet. They operate alongside the Airbus A340-600. Airbus A350-900 and Boeing 747-400. They will also be welcoming the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner into the fleet later this year.
This aircraft – D-AIKH was was delivered to the airline in February 2005 and has remained in the fleet since then.
It was parked for a period during the pandemic, however it has returned to service, operating services across the Lufthansa Long haul network.
More Airplane art next week!
