It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more airplane art
This week, we have an Alitalia Airbus A320 arriving at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport as it completes the short-haul run from Italy to The Netherlands.
Alitalia operates a fleet of 38 Airbus A320 aircraft in its short to mid-haul fleet. The airline also operates the Airbus A319 and A321 in its short to mid-haul fleet, whilst operating the Airbus A330-200 and Boeing 7770-200ER in its long haul fleet (although a lot of the A330 fleet is stored and three of the 777 fleet stored as well).
This aircraft – I-BIKA named “Johann Sebastian Bach.”- joined one of the incarnations of Alitalia in March 1999.
The aircraft has been parked since April 2021, with no flights registered since 20th April 2021.
More Airplane art next week!
