It’s Sunday again (at the time of writing) so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have an Emirates Boeing 7777-300ER on final approach to Chicago O’Hare International Airport, shot from the Hyatt Regency O’Hare.
Emirates operate a fleet of 123 Boeing 777-300ER aircraft in its fleet – making them one of the largest operators of the type in the world. They are supplemented with the Boeing 777-200LR and the Airbus A380.
The airline is due to take delivery of Airbus A350-900, Boeing 777X 9 and Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner aircraft in the next few years, to allow for fleet renewal.
This aircraft – A6-EPX joined the Emirates fleet in December 2016, where it has remained since then. Like most members of the Emirates fleet, it sees operational action around the world, serving destinations such as Manchester, Osaka, Frankfurt, Sydney, Delhi and Paris over the last week.
