It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have a Virgin Atlantic Boeing 787-9 on final approach to its home base of London Heathrow Airport.
Virgin Atlantic operate a fleet of 17 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners in its long haul fleet.
The airline also operates the Airbus A330-200, Airbus A330-300 and Airbus A350-1000, with orders for the Airbus A330-900neo.
This aircraft – G-VAHH – “Dream Girl” was the class leader for Virgin Atlantic, the first of the fleet, delivered at the end of December 2014. It’s therefore just over six and half years old, operating in a three-class layout of Upper Class, Premium Economy and Economy Class.
It is currently active, recently serving long haul destinations including Atlanta and Johannesburg.
More Airplane Art next week!
