With the USA planning to open up, it’s a good time for British Airways to have another sale – this time featuring the USA destinations.
Get ready – there’s a sale on! Image, Economy Class and Beyond.
With the reopening of the USA now within reach, British Airways and British Airways Holidays have reduced the price of flights and holidays to the likes of New York, Miami, Boston and Orlando.
The sale will run from 14 – 27 October 2021 and includes travel to the summer of 2022. Those planning to travel elsewhere can also take advantage of deals to destinations in Europe, the Caribbean and Dubai.
Anything good?
British Airways has published down lead-in prices for flights. In Economy Class:
- New York from £320
- Boston from £330
- Orlando from £330
- Miami from £340
- Los Angeles from £340
- Tampa from £294
Club World fares are also on sale for those who demand the business class experience. Examples cited include:
- £1,599 from New York
- £1,499 from Boston
The airline is also offering flight and hotel packages via British Airways Holidays too, with some offers published. Again, check these out – Holiday packages can be secured with deposits from £60pp, with the final balance due up to three weeks before travel. However, they may be subject to minimum person requirements (singletons, look elsewhere as usual).
All bookings will fall under British Airways’ and British Airways Holidays’ ongoing flexible booking policies, allowing customers to rearrange their trip free of charge before 31 August 2022.
In addition, if you’re spending over £1,500 on holiday packages including five nights of hotel or more – the British Airways Holidays VIP airport offer also remains in place, available on travel up until 31 March 2022. They will automatically qualify for Galleries Club Lounge access, premium check-in, Fast Track Security and priority boarding if departing from London Heathrow Terminal 5
There’s a map too
For travellers, there’s a decent map tool that British Airways launched in partnership with Sherpa.
You can find the map at https://www.britishairways.com/en-gb/information/incident/coronavirus/entry-requirements#requirements
The map provides travellers with the latest travel rules for inbound and outbound destinations.
Might be time to book
With travel finally opening up to the USA, people will be looking to reconnect with others (your author included), be it for business, families, tourism or just to explore.
I’ll be taking a look, as I seek to reconnect with people in 2022 – and who knows? Maybe a cheeky trip towards the end of the year. Although Singapore is rather tempting to me personally…
