For those of you who are married to looking at your Avios and Tier point balances, here’s a quick reminder – that the British Airways Executive Club/Avios Member area will be unavailable for access between 13th November and 17th November.
During this time, you’ll be unable to log in to your Executive Club account or spend your Avios online or by contacting the airline.
You’ll be unable to
- Access your Executive Club account on ba.com or through any of the British Airways mobile apps. You can print, download or email your boarding pass ahead of travel.
- Make a booking using Avios
- Make changes to any booking paid for using Avios. If you’re travelling on an Avios booking between 13 and 17 November 2021 and need to change it, you will need to contact BA
- Spend your Avios on flights, cabin upgrades, hotels, car hire, bags and seats online or by the contact centre
- Buy food and drink onboard using Avios
- Shop through eStore and buy, gift or transfer Avios. Avios collected through eStore from 8 November 2021 will be added to accounts from 30 November 2021 onwards
- Claim missing Avios or Tier Points from British Airways or our partners
You will be able to book flights and make changes to them if they are paid for in cash. Onboard purchases will have their Avios earned (although it may take time). eStore Transactions will take a little time to come through.
Those with missing Avios or tier points will need to claim manually after 17th November.
If you have pressing bookings ACT NOW.
If you need to complete bookings involving the spending of Avios, and you need to get them locked in, do it before Saturday.
Otherwise, you’ll have to wait until next Thursday to conduct any transactions on your account…
