It’s Sunday again, so it must be time for some more airplane art.
This week, we have a Finnair Airbus A350-900 at the gate at London Heathrow Terminal 3, as it is turned around for its return flight to Helsinki Vantaa Airport.
Finnair operates a fleet of 16 Airbus A350-900 aircraft in its fleet. These are supported by 8 Airbus A330-300. Together, they form the long haul fleet of the airline, replacing the Airbus A340 aircraft the airline used to operate.
As well as long haul operations, Finnair utilises its wide-body aircraft on European operations where there is a high demand.
The airline operates Airbus narrow-body aircraft, as well as Embraer and ATR aircraft its short-haul and regional operations.
This aircraft – OH-LWG – joined the Finnair fleet in September 2016. It has remained active, recently flying to Tokyo, Chicago, Osaka and Hong Kong.
More Airplane Art next week!
