It’s late, but it’s Sunday somewhere – so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we have an Austrian Airlines Embraer E195 taxiing out of Stuttgart Airport as it heads off to its home base of Vienna Airport.
Austrian Airlines operates a fleet of 17 Embraer E195 aircraft in its regional and short-haul fleet. They support the Airbus A319, Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft in its short-to-medium haul fleet. Together, they connect the Austrian Airlines fleet to Europe and allow others to connect at Vienna for long-distance travel.
This aircraft OE-LWD originally joined Lufthansa and was operated by Lufthansa CityLine in March 2011, operating as D-AEBF – Bad Füssing. It was assigned an Austrian registration at the end of October 2015 where it was assigned to Austrian Airlines and named “Central Europe”.
More Airplane Art Next week!
