It’s Boxing Day and it is also Sunday, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, we’re hanging around in Zurich with a SWISS International Air Lines Boeing 777-300ER taking off from its home base of Zurich Airport, as it heads off to a long-distance destination many miles away.
Swiss operates a fleet of 12 Boeing 777-300ER aircraft in its long haul fleet. It also operates the Airbus A330-300 and Airbus A340-300 to support the Boeing 777-300ER fleet. The airline operates the Airbus narrow-body aircraft on its short-to-medium haul routes.
This aircraft – HB-JNC joined the SWISS fleet in April 2016 under the SWISS Global Airlines subsidiary until April 2018, where it changed operational ownership to SWISS International Airlines. The aircraft has been operating out of its Zurich hub to Chicago, San Francisco, Bangkok and Shanghai over the past week – bringing the Swiss cross around the world.
More Airplane Art next week!
