The business of aviation goes on, with Iraqi Airways taking delivery of their first Airbus A220.

This is the first of five aircraft Iraqi Airways will be taking delivery of, with the airline taking the larger Airbus A22-300. The aircraft was delivered from the Airbus facility at Mirabel, Canada.
Upon entry into service, Iraqi Airways will become one of the first airlines to operate the A220 in the Middle East region.
The airline has configured their new aircraft in a two-class configuration, with 12 Business Class seats and 120 Economy Class seats – for a total of 132 seats on this aircraft.
Iraqi Airways is in the process of fleet modernisation with the airline having orders from Boeing as well for 737 MAX 8 and 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft
The airline currently operates a mixture of Airbus A320 family aircraft, Airbus A330-200,, Boeing 737-800 family, Boeing 777-200LR and Boeing 747-400.
